We design biocompatible polymers and nanomedicines that deliver drugs directly to targeted cells and tissues for treating cancer, cardiovascular, liver, and other life-threatening diseases. Using polymer chemistry, biology, pharmacology, and biomedical engineering, we create smart drug delivery systems that either bind disease-related molecules or adapt to stimuli at the target site. Our international team focuses on translational research to advance drug development.
